Third grade had the chance to participate in an in-house field trip called Edison's Workshop. As the name suggests, we learned all about electricity! We discovered electric currents by completing light bulb and bell circuits. We tested static electricity using balloons and scraps of paper. We even made an electroscope! Perhaps the most exciting part of our time in Edison's Workshop was when we interacted with a static electricity generator. It was definitely a "hair-raising" event!
