Welcome, Mr. Ryan Johnson
We are excited to announce Mr. Ryan Johnson has been hired as the Director of Christian Life Impact. (This position was formally called the School Chaplain.) In this vital position, Mr. Johnson is responsible for the spiritual development of students in grades K4-12. He will oversee the weekly chapel program, mission trips, Bible curriculum, as well as the implementation of our school’s Christian Life plan. Mr. Johnson has most recently been the well-loved youth minister at Willow Creek Church in Winter Springs for the past six years.
After becoming a Christian in college, Mr. Johnson felt the strong call of God to give teenagers what he did not get in middle and high school... a chance to hear who Jesus is and how He can transform their hearts and minds. Since graduating from Georgia Southern University (B.S. Speech Communications), he has been in full-time student ministry for 11 years, equipping students to reach other students for Christ. His passion is to come alongside families to help students understand the love and grace of Jesus Christ and the implications of that love on their everyday lives. Ryan also has a Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary, but claims that his greatest accomplishment is convincing his beautiful wife Jen to marry him 10 years ago. Together they have two amazing children, Parker (2nd Grade) and Payton (Kindergarten), who both attend TMA.
He will officially begin his new role on July 1. Please welcome Mr. Johnson to the TMA administration team.
