Weekly art classes for all students provide exciting opportunities for students to learn to “observe and record” God’s creation. As they are introduced to the elements and principles of design, they will be introduced to famous artists of our past. They will learn what moved these artists to use the talent God placed in them, so that our children may learn to do the same. Student work is placed on display and entered in local competitions and festivals.
Students in kindergarten through fifth grades can participate in league and intramural athletic activities such as soccer, flag football, golden ball, bowling, basketball, karate, gymnastics, and cheerleading.
Fourth and fifth grade students may choose to become involved in The Master's Academy's dynamic band program. Meeting several times weekly, these young people begin a life-long source of enjoyment and enrichment through playing an instrument.
A state-of-the-art lower school computer lab containing Pentium 4 computers with flat screen monitors and the latest software provides student hands-on experiences in computer learning activities.
The Lower School general music program includes weekly music classes for all students, performing opportunities for all grades, regional choral competitions, and performances at nursing homes, shopping centers, churches, and local tourist attractions.
Weekly foreign language studies expose students to the Spanish language and culture and provide interactive opportunities in the Hispanic world.
Qualified second, third, fourth, and fifth grade students participate in a weekly pull-out program that enriches, expands, and exposes them to new concepts and activities beyond the traditional classroom.
