The Master's Academy welcomes students from around the world to its campus in Oviedo, Florida. We provide housing for students to live with a TMA host family. Hosts provide accommodations, meals, guidance, friendship, and assistance during the student’s tenure.
The Master's Academy is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students. In addition to the regular application for admission, international students must conduct a Skype interview with our Admissions Team and submit a bank verified financial statement as per the procedure below.
Parents may submit the application at any time. We offer rolling admission, so there is no need to wait to apply.
Step 1 – The Application
The application is the first step to our Admissions Process. A current photograph of your child is requested to help the Admission Committee put a face with a name!
Step 2 - Request for Transcripts
We ask that you include the last three years of grade reports, translated into English, including any testing results with your application. We require official transcripts directly from the student's current school.
Step 3 – Birth Certificate and Immunization Records
We must have a copy of the student’s birth certificate and immunization records, translated into English.
Step 4 - Confidential Financial Statement
In order for The Master's Academy to prepare to issue an I-20 form, United States Immigration and Naturalization Services require that all parents of applicants submit proof of their ability to support their child's studies. This documentation is usually required when applying for an F-1 visa, in which case you may submit a copy of the F-1 application instead of the Confidential Financial Statement.
Step 5 - Schedule an Admission Interview
When you have submitted your forms to the Admission Office, we will contact you. Admission interviews generally take about 20 minutes and are an informal, “get-to-know-you” time in which we will also look for English proficiency. This process will take place with a Skype interview.
Step 6 - The Master's Academy issues an I-20
Step 7 - F-1 Visa Transfer for Students Already in the U.S.
If you are transferring from another school in the U.S. and already have a F-1 Visa, please sign the top portion of the International Student Transfer Form and submit it with your application.
Step 8 - Admission Decision
Admission decisions will be made on a rolling basis. You will be notified by mail and will have two weeks to return the enrollment contract sent with acceptance letter.
Step 9 - Pay annual tuition. *Starting with the 2014-2015 school year, annual tuition for international students must be paid in advance and is non-refundable.
