"CHRIST IS GREATER THAN YOU, YOU ARE GREATER THAN ME" is our theme for the 2012-2013 school year. This theme will help us learn about being more like Christ. Christ had a rightful claim to everything, but He chose the path of a servant-steward and relinquished those rights. We cannot relinquish those rights since everything belongs to Christ. We need to follow His example, recognizing our lack of rights from the beginning. That concept brings humility and then from that position we learn to recognize the significance of others.
Our theme verse is Philippians 2:3:
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
